Print production by Create-This, artwork design by Farquar Design, copy by Wordstuff and I get to pay for it all. I am really pleased with it. If you want one then e-mail me or hello@kabukiproductions.co.uk

A photo from a recent video project where we spent a very long day shooting 4 different musical sets for the Urban Soul Orchestra. Kabuki has been commissioned to capture and create a series of promotional videos for the USO and help them continue to succeed in what has already been a fantastic year for them. Photograph taken by Tyson Sadlo with the production team on instruments and the musicians holding the camera equipment.

Finally started the first full day of our long weekend in Devon by stopping for lunch at the fabulously comfortable and relaxed restaurant called the Wild Garlic run by Matt Follas, winner of Master Chef 2009. My younger daughter is a real fan and became all start struck and serious as soon as he came over to our table. Food was fantastic, with my favourites on the menu, beetroot soup and a spelt risotto finished by one of the best Eton Mess desserts. Continue to be disappointed that this country just cannot accommodate vegetarians with a decent range of a menu. This time it was soup and risotto with the option of a baked courgette. When you are paying £25 per head you would expect a more.

Photo of a very happy Stephen as he comes off stage. Having won the opportunity to produce a set of films for the USO we were invited to film them during a live gig on Saturday 26th where they were playing at The Hurlingham Club for the LTA & Wimbledon Ball. Just me and Neill with two cameras but we covered a lot of ground and ended up with a few hours of rushes, finished very late, arriving home in day light early on Sunday morning.

What a surprisingly brilliant night. Production values of the outdoor opening concert for the Chi Festivities were low with a small stage and small pa system and a few lights thrown in for good luck but the entertainment, atmosphere and lovely people we sat next to made it a great night to start the Summer events calendar with. The real highlight was the fireworks display at the end of the night, great music, great timing and just a great display. Well done.
